This month I am focusing on balancing and healing the chakras. I will be taking you through each Chakra- explaining what it is, how to identify when it is unbalanced, and how to heal it. This article will be focusing on the Heart Chakra.

Location: Within and surrounding your heart
Connected to: love, peace, relationships,  breath
Symptoms (when unbalanced): issues with breathing, hypertension, infections of the respiratory system, heart problems, avoiding opportunities to socialize, feeling like a victim, lack of boundaries, lack of compassion, inhumane behavior
Heal Using These Tips:

Healing meditation
– Wear or carry Heart Chakra-Healing gemstones
-Eat green colored foods (spinach, avocados,etc.)
-Drink green tea or green smoothies
-Engage in an activity you love
-Be kind
-Imagine a brilliant green light flowing into the area encompassing the Heart Chakra.
-be honest
-Do volunteer work
Signs of a balanced heart Chakra: strong and healthy relationships, compassionate, optimistic, peaceful, respectful and caring of humanity, open to receiving and giving love, grateful
